Artist Intro

Colourful, thoughtful, analytical yet loose and free — this is both the way I paint and the way I live. My art is an extension of who I am: a reflection of my inner world, my experiences, and the way I move through life. Each piece carries a part of myself, shaped by emotion, observation, and intuition, blending careful thought with creative freedom. 

Artist Bio

Edina was born in Hungary, growing up surrounded by art and music in her family and at school. She attended the Technical University of Budapest, where she graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Architectural Engineering. In her early career as an architect she moved to the Middle East then to Asia. Up until 2022 she worked primarily as a freelance designer but continued to draw and paint with the passion for art she carried from childhood.  In 2023, moving back to Europe (Denmark) brought her focus back to painting. Since progress and development is everything for her, Edina attended several courses and workshops with renowned artist such as Etsuko Oide, Noah Pryke, Misha Bart and Ian Roberts, which catapulted her abilities to a new level. 

Edina is currently working out of her personal studio in Copenhagen, where she is developing a body of work that explores the concepts of transformation, belonging, and identity through the lense of eastern philosophies. She has a wide range of painting subjects including landscape paintings and portrait/figurative works.
